Connect iorad to Claude, ChatGPT, or Perplexity
<aside>
đą
Works on mobile. Once connected, the iorad MCP works the same way in the Claude, ChatGPT, and Perplexity mobile apps as it does on desktop and web, confirmed across all three.
</aside>
iorad MCP server URL:
<https://www.iorad.com/api/mcp>
<aside>
đ
Already signed in? If you're already logged into iorad in that browser, approving access often completes automatically; you may not see a separate sign-in screen at all.

These steps can change. Each AI assistant's own settings UI is outside iorad's control and may shift over time. If a step here doesn't match what you see, look for the nearest equivalent (for example, a different menu path to add a custom connector).
</aside>
Claude
- Go to claude.ai/customize.
- Click Connectors.
- Click +, then Add custom connector.
- Enter a name, for example iorad.
- Paste the server URL:
https://www.iorad.com/api/mcp
- Click Connect.
- Approve access in the iorad window that opens (sign in if asked). If you're already signed in, you'll go straight back to Claude.
- Allow the iorad tools by clicking the checkmark icon under each tool.

âšī¸
Claude free plan: Claude currently limits free accounts to one custom connector. If you already have another custom connector, you may need a paid Claude plan to add iorad.

ChatGPT
- Open ChatGPT in your browser.
- Go to Settings â Plugins â Browse Plugins.
- Click +, and enter a name (for example, iorad), a short description, and the server URL:
https://www.iorad.com/api/mcp
- Approve access in the iorad window that opens (sign in if asked).
- Start a chat by selecting the iorad plugin, or using the @ command.
<aside>
âšī¸
Works on ChatGPT's free plan too. If you don't see Plugins under Settings, turn on Developer Mode under Settings â Security & Login first, it unlocks the same menu.
</aside>
Perplexity
- Go to Account Settings â Connectors. For a team-wide connector, an admin can instead use Enterprise Settings â Permissions â Connectors permissions.
- Click + Custom connector in the top right.
- Choose Remote.
- Enter a name, for example iorad, and the server URL:
https://www.iorad.com/api/mcp
- Leave transport and authentication as default, check the box acknowledging custom connector risks, and click Add.
- Click the new connector card. Approve access in the iorad window that opens (sign in if asked).
<aside>
âšī¸
Requires a paid Perplexity plan. Custom connectors aren't available on Perplexity's free plan.

Microsoft Copilot Studio
<aside>
âšī¸
Two different Copilot surfaces. Copilot Studio (the agent-builder tool) and Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat are set up differently, see both sections below.
</aside>
- Open your agent in Copilot Studio and go to the Tools page.
- Click Add a tool â New tool â Model Context Protocol.
- Enter a Server name (for example, iorad), a short Server description, and the Server URL:
https://www.iorad.com/api/mcp
- Choose the authentication type for the connection (typically OAuth 2.0) and follow the prompts.
- Click Create, then choose Create a new connection (or an existing one) and click Add to agent.
- Approve access in the iorad window that opens (sign in if asked).
<aside>
âšī¸
Transport requirement: Copilot Studio only supports the Streamable HTTP transport for MCP. SSE is no longer supported.

Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat
<aside>
âšī¸
Admin setup required. Unlike Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Copilot Studio, this isn't a self-serve, per-user connection. A Microsoft 365 admin (Global Administrator or AI Administrator) has to add it once for the whole org.
</aside>
- In the Microsoft 365 admin center, go to Copilot â Connectors.
- Select the Gallery tab.
- Under Created by your org, find Create a new connector and click Add.
- On the Custom connector page, under Connect to MCP server, click Add.
- Enter a Display name (for example, iorad) and the Base URL:
https://www.iorad.com/api/mcp
- Enter the SSO or OAuth registration ID from the Teams Developer Portal, matching however the connection authenticates.
- Click Save.
- Use Staged rollout to deploy to test users or groups first, then Deploy to all users when ready.
Other AI assistants
In any other AI assistant that supports custom MCP connectors:
- Find where the app lets you add a custom connector or MCP server.
- Paste the server URL:
https://www.iorad.com/api/mcp
- Approve access in the iorad window that opens (sign in if asked).
- Allow or enable the iorad tools.
Staying connected
- You only need to sign in once. Your connection renews itself automatically as you use it.
- If you don't use the iorad connection for 90 days, you'll need to reconnect and sign in again.
