Getting the most out of the iorad MCP
Once connected, your AI assistant decides on its own when to use iorad, based on what you ask. You don't need special commands. These tips get better results:
Tips for better answers
- Mention iorad. Adding "Use the iorad MCP" to your message is the simplest way to make sure your assistant checks iorad.
- Use @ mentions for a direct shortcut. In ChatGPT and Perplexity, typing @iorad in your message brings the connector in directly. In Claude, plain language works just as well: simply mentioning iorad, or telling Claude to use the iorad connector, is enough; no click sequence required.
- Say "all my tutorials" when you mean everything. Tutorials can be organized into libraries, but not every tutorial is in one. If you want everything, ask for all tutorials, not tutorials in my libraries.
- Be specific to keep answers fast. Name a tutorial, library, date range, or learner. Big, unfiltered requests (for example "export all my data") can return more data than your assistant can read at once.
- Use iorad's own export for a full data dump. To download everything, the export in the iorad web app is faster and more reliable. The MCP works best for focused questions.
- Point it to the right tool if it gets confused. If the assistant takes the wrong approach, tell it which kind of information to use, such as "use the list tutorials tool".
